Is it wrong that my fondest memory of Wellington, New Zealand was this delicious, delicious muffin? Fidel's Cafe was recommended to me as the best muffins and coffee in town, and since thats what I was living on by that point, I was pretty quick to get there. The cafe was all themed around Fidel Castro, because it was on Cuba St. (the hippest part of town). The town also had a great City & Sea museum, nice beaches, great little boutiques and vintage shops, and they brought us Flight of the Conchords... so it is safe to say if I ever lived in New Zealand, I would be living here.
