
My final stop in New Zealand was the tourist town of Rotorua. It wasn't the most beautiful town, nor the most entertaining, but I was still able to make the most of it. The town is known for it's Maori people, hot springs, and bubbling mud. It is also known for reaking of sulfur...which was interesting to wake up to. I spent a couple nights here preparing my brain to head back to LA. I made my way through parks, saw a performance by a Maori tribe, and learned about their culture. I also made friends with a couple Graphic Designers from Helsinki, Finland. We swapped music, talked about the frustrations of office life, and shared stories from our homes.
It was a great way to end the trip. I soon made my way back to LA, but my travels didn't stop there. I made my way to Michigan, Chicago, Santa Cruz, Tahoe, Portland, and Seattle in the following 5 months. What a life!
