I.T. Amazing

Logo design for a local Santa Cruz I.T. Company

The company, I.T. Amazing, based in Santa Cruz, California was looking for a logo that would reflect it's cheeky name. The target audience is really anyone who owns a computer, so the logo had to be approachable and friendly, and stand out among the other tech companies in the bay area. The icon references the symbol for a bluetooth connection, to imply connection to the customer, while the 'i' and the 't' create a subtle reference to two faces smiling. As well the bright colors and swooping type treatment add to the friendliness of the brand.  (http://itamazing.com/)

Wylie Weddings

Logo for a wedding planning creative group

The client came to me with a name and an idea for an illustrative logo, featuring a fox or a coyote. Wylie Weddings is a "comprehensive planning, design and production company" with a crafty, high-quality style geared at the DIY culture. After a few rounds, we came up with a striped, coyote, fox hybrid perfectly styled for the brand. I also created the type by hand.

Lucky You! Bakery

Logo & Website design for late night bakery in Lawrence, Kansas

The client came to me for an "illustrative, youthful, Californian, trendy" logo for their late night bakery in a college town in Kansas. We tried a number of ideas, some playing directly on the late night aspect, but finally settled on a character. The logo features a retro, 50s-style baker and banner.

Bayside Bar & Grille

Logo design for Bar and Grille in Key West

Client requested an illustrative logo that caputured the mood of Key West.  With a charming location right on the water I found my inspiration. The color scheme and overall style of the illustration were tweaked until the client and I felt we had found the balance of Key West's slow paced culture and it's exciting night life.
